If you're not aware, I play Yukine (Alectryon), Crown (Rats), Lion (Cats, echo-dropped), Caretaker (Tiamat Patron), and Melek. . . Who has not been introduced yet. I HAVE TOO MUCH.

That's the answer.

It's not something that I have planned out because I want it to happen organically and I am not sure where he is going to be at personality wise when he does realise that he has feelings for her. Ideally, I want him to be able to talk to someone about it and work out a very ridiculous plan to court her with some gross irrational jealousy fits in between.

THE PROBLEM WITH KYR, HOWEVER, is that everything I plan gets completely blown to shit. Since Kyr has a mind of its freaking own.

Edward: This is Hiyori's friend and she's very fond of him! He doesn't know much about him personally except that he's knowledgeable. So no real feelings except he's glad Hiyori has him.

Rotten: Overwhelming, but he likes her! He hopes to come back just to talk to her when he's less worried about other stuff.

Belt: ????????? MURDERED KONG SO HE HATES HER, but she's kind of likeable? Also Tora liked her a lot so?? ??????? ????? WHAT ARE THESE FEELINGS.

CARETAKER:
Edward: INCREDIBLY FOND OF EDWARD, but very embarrassed because he doesn't want to bother him too much. He's very nervous about it. He wants to have a good relationship with him and be able to be a great patron for him in all sense of the word. He just feels that he's lacking all the time because of who he is and his minimum experience as an echo. He kind of feels like he's just winging it and trying to pretend to know what is going on. HE JUST WANTS EDWARD TO LOVE HIM AND BE HAPPY.

Rotten: What a cute girl. He actually quite likes her, but she's hella confusing. No idea what she is talking about a lot of the time.

As for romance plans...... Don't even talk to me about that. Panther is in this fucking weird ass """quasi-relationship""" with Coyote where they're like flirting and yet not and it's like. Even after they sleep together, they'll be like, "no homo". Actual useless shits.

Haha! I'm really surprised by that question!

Lace is hands down one of Caretaker's favourite people that he's met in Kyr and he's incredibly sad that she left to go back to her world. He took it a little hard because he very genuinely and immediately liked her, so he felt like he missed out on so many opportunities to spend time with her and get to know the place that she came from. He spent a few days laying around sadly after she left because he really did want more time!

He talked to Tiamat a little about missing her as well. They suggested hanging her photo up with Diamond who also left, but he felt weird about that? Like he didn't have the place to do something like that. It did make him decide that he should do something for her though (and others who left that mattered to him).

So, there's a wooden sword staked into the ground in his realm to commemorate her.

IT'S REALLY LAME AND HE WOULD NEVER TELL ANYONE ABOUT IT because to be perfectly honest with you (and I have said as much more), Lace is someone he would have fallen in love with. AND DONE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ABOUT because lol cursed body.

OK, IGNORING THAT FUCKING EMBARRASSMENT.

My favourite thing about playing Yukine is that he's got a lot of sides to him and I really enjoy trying to play out all of those elements of him. He can go from being incredibly violent (straight up murdering yato with a glass bottle) to pouring him tea. He's incredibly flexible and very strong because he takes a lot of stuff onto himself without cracking too much underneath the pressure.

For Ikki. . . I just love that he's a fucking unforgivable shitstain. HE'S SO BAD. I LOVE THAT THE MOST.

And Caretaker, I GUESS IT'S WEIRD TO SAY BECAUSE THIS IS MY OC AND I GET NERVOUS ABOUT PLAYING AN OC ALL THE DAMN TIME. But—! I love his gentleness and his leaps to excitement over very small things. Playing him often puts me into a good mood because he tries so hard for the sake of others.

What are some of the biggest regrets you've had about your characters? Like missed chances or plans that fell through? Or just ran out to time to do?

I am really excited to develop them like we talked about. Aaaaaa. I WANT SO MUCH SO QUICKLY. WEHHHH. But they're going to be great. AND MAYBE RAT MOTTO WILL NOT ALWAYS BE "SORRY ABOUT CROWN"!!

i regret that lace only got to punch yato once-- okay no (but yes). i regret that she didn't get to do a lot of action stuff, i think! she got to fight stuff in heart games a few times, but. if i could go back i would also change some parts of her heart game, too, although i had a bunch of fun with that either way! THE OTHERS i'm still playing so no regrets there.

SPEAKING OF HEARTS i never had the time to read over yukine's but what was your favorite thing that happened in it/your favorite change that somebody caused

IT'LL BE SO GOOD......whenever it happens. the slow and steady build of the shit that happens between them and her and him as characters. My body is so ready but I also wanna pace this out perfectly so we can time to enjoy it. ;;;; AND WOAH THERE. I think the motto will always be "Sorry about Crown" but maybe because of good things instead of him being a bother.

hahaha. my heartgame was a mess and i was way too overambitious with it because it was the first thing that i ever ran so i also spent weeks trying to organise what i wanted from it. my favourite change/thing that went down happened on yato's run. there was a "hidden" room that led the player into a room mirroring alectryon's common room that represented his future/role in (un)life both as a shinki and as a member of alectryon. so in it was a representation of those feelings wearing the face of kong, who was his strongest influence from the team. A COMPLETELY SAFE NPC. he was there strictly to guide as a reference to yukine's role as yato's guidepost, but he murdered yato. it was, arguably, one of the most important moments in the heart because his representation of the future ultimately decided yato was unworthy. i mean, there were some side effects outside of that (like the knife thing which changed his opinions on murder).

yato did mostly fix this during true heart though, so it's not that big of a deal.

OK, NOW, LET ME BE SHAMELESS. if lace were available, would she ever consider a human caretaker worth a few dates?

he has no bad feelings about it at all. MOSTLY BECAUSE HE DOESN'T REMEMBER ANYTHING TOO BAD ABOUT HER YET. 95% of his memories for kofuku are super fucking positive.

tuning is going to happen. or i will set fire to your whole house. i know i want to ease him into the a-t stuff and maybe even introduce it to him differently than it was in canon because i don't want to muddle him up with some of the feelings he had in the manga. MOSTLY BECAUSE I DON'T WANT TO WRECK HIM over feeling like his wings are clipped.
