Question meme because I broke or have almost broken some milestones with my characters! Crown at 9K comments (not all kyr), Yukine for 6K, and Caretaker almost 1k! Ask me anything and everything. I will answer to the best of my ability, yushuyushu.

If you're not aware, I play Yukine (Alectryon), Crown (Rats), Lion (Cats, echo-dropped), Caretaker (Tiamat Patron), and Melek. . . Who has not been introduced yet. I HAVE TOO MUCH.

CARETAKER→OCHRE: At current, he doesn't have any complicated feelings for Ochre. He has been very honest and straightforward with how he feels and that's that he adores Ochre. Ochre is one of the two people on the team that he feels that he has the most in common with, which really helps put him at ease since he already feels like he's such a huge outsider strong-arming his way into a really great thing. He really wants to spend more time with him and feed him. Ideally while doing arts and crafts.

YUKINE→ISHIYAMA: To be upfront, his feelings about Ishiyama are entirely unfair and he knows damn well that they are. He's angry at all of the new people simply because they're new and they aren't the people that he'd grown so close to. He's being incredibly childish about the whole turn-over issue. Otherwise, he feels like Ishi is a little bit of a tit for the Karasu thing, but he also understands that it isn't easy coming into this place so he's trying not to judge him too much for it. But he's also super embarrassed for being dumb around him and everyone else! So he wants to try and. . . patch things up.

Ochre→Caretaker: At first, Ochre was really, uh. Not appreciative of the Caretaker's presence. At all. He'd just been getting used to Delriza, he finally felt like he was getting closer to her- and then she was gone, and there was some stranger in her place. That said, over the past couple of weeks, Ochre's been growing more and more comfortable around the Caretaker, and now he's basically over the moon at the fact that they get to keep the Caretaker and Delriza. He's really fond of the Caretaker, now, because here's someone else who gets what it's like to both love crafting and making shit, and also want to beat shit up, too. Honestly, he really appreciates the fact that there's just- anyone else who gets that, and he wants to do all the crafts with the Caretaker.

And he will. Kid doesn't know when to back off, so the Caretaker will end up making some kind of craft with him, sooner or later. He's pegged the Caretaker as someone willing to do dumb art shit with him, and he's not willing to let that go.

Ishiyama→Yukine: Honestly, Ishiyama had written Yukine off. He'd seen Yukine maybe... twice? The entire time he'd been here, and he knew Yukine hadn't been to any of the games. He'd just- figured he'd come back to an empty mirror and a new teammate one of these days. :I That said, since Yukine'd shown up to the cooking game, and had shown that he wasn't quite dead yet, Ishi's willing to give Yukine another chance. He's somewhat already lumped Yukine in with Karasu and Azmuth on the team- team, but not Team, which is going to be a bit of a challenge, when it comes to getting to know each other, because Ishi's already put up a barricade in the way. (More than. His stellar personality, anyway.)

He just "knows" that Yukine will be on Karasu's side when it comes to any team split, and although he respects that, it means he's in no way inclined to rely on, or trust Yukine with anything other than a team-wide issues.



What crafts does the Caretaker like the best. I ask because. Reasons.

WHAT CRAFTS DOES OCHRE LIKE THE BEST?

Knitting/sewing, yes, but also weird construction things, like how he turned those glass leaves from the forest into a mobile that's in his room's window, or turning the brooch into a cloak pin.

Would the Caretaker be willing to teach blacksmithing I need to know

Yes, he is willing to take on a student who is willing to put in all the time and effort for it. He has a very practical skillset and I GUESS THIS GIVES AWAY THAT HIS DRAGON PINS ARE HANDMADE because they're handmade.

He's like the great NPC knight trainer in mmos.

What do you characters look for in a love interest?

SETTING ASIDE THE OUTLIER FOR A SECOND

For Ochre- acceptance, honestly. He wants someone who's willing to accept him for who he is, just because he's spent literally his entire life having one part or another rejected by... everyone. Either the crafting or the fighting, one of them has to go, according to everyone.

Physically, he seems to go for the androgynous type, because, well. Naoto. And then in DAN there's Nozomi.

Whether the later is because of the former or not, I honestly don't know.

Bringing back in Peony- he was a mashup of charisma effect and 'holy shit he's actually paying attention to me'.

As for Ishi- he wants a guy who can keep up with him, and push him. Someone who understands the darker side to his life, but is willing to stick around anyway.

Physically, he wants someone- okay, to be blunt? Ishi is 35 years old. He wants someone who looks like neither of them are robbing the cradle. If the guy can be large and buff, then, well, that just ties into being able to keep up with him on the battlefield.

Yukine → HE WANTS NO ONE EVER AGAIN AFTER HIS FAILED ROMANCE. He's dead and basically frozen in time. It's one giant aching wound that will never heal, just constantly getting ripped back open again and again. he likes people. . . who either make him feel alive or completely understand him. He's really simple because he's been damned to a life where his main companion is Yato, so having someone around to give him affection and generally be a positive influence on his life is well enough to make him develop gross feelings because he's still a teenager. He was really, really, really happy when he was in a relationship. BUT ALL GOOD THINGS COME TO AN END.

Crown → Short answer: Simca. The long answer: Simca.

She is his original canon love interest, although he could never be with her in any regard because he's idolised her to the pointy of unreality. Simca does for him what no one else did for him, she put a spark in his heart. He started off watching her glide through the air and while he wanted that for himself, he was also content to watch her without ever infringing on her by doing something stupid like. . . talking to her. For him, she was this majestic bird that he was honoured with being able to see fly. Of course, she was well aware of this and gave him the right push by staging a situation where she made him think that she needed to be rescued. She put all the pieces in place and all of them played their part perfectly, including Ikki. She continues to push him and force him into action throughout the series and it's common theme that when Simca calls for him, he comes running. She was the first person to make him want to fly and continued to support his wings. Even without his memories, Crown is looking for someone to inspire and push him. He's been pushing others all of his life, so having the favour returned means a lot.

Without Simca, Ikki would have always been a street thug and nothing more.

Caretaker → Doesn't deserve romance and never will. However, if by some chance he fell into it anyway, someone like Lace was kind of his ideal. He doesn't care much about appearance, but he cares strongly for the strength of their character and heart. He couldn't be with anyone on the evil side of the spectrum, but he could deeply understand someone who used to be and is trying to become more. He's not a very judgemental person, but he holds strong in his own convictions so he doesn't have time for those who wouldn't respect that.
