( admittedly, yukine doesn't answer the first call. instead of doing something stupid like that, he just holds it in his palm and listens to it ring as he tries to figure out what the number is attached to. "recolle county jail" flashes clear across his phone's screen but there's literally no one who could possibly be calling him from there. it's too weird and part of him feels like it's some kind of prank. there's apps to change your display name, isn't there?

yet, mid-way through the second try, yukine decides just to see who the hell it is because he's got this gnawing fear that maybe it's dad and something happened. his dad would be the only person who'd even make sense to call him from there, wouldn't he? only. . . he should have his cellphone on him.
