( he doesn't need to look closely to see the way that shouto leans into it though, so that's about all the encouragement he needs to keep going for a little longer. hopefully it makes shouto feel at least a little better. )

( after shutting the door behind shouto, he leads him into his mess of a room where he's completely ripped it apart in his wild search for anything with a speck of green or blue still on it. obviously, he didn't have much luck with it. he makes sure to lock his door after shouto as well. just in case. privacy matters.

( a heavy sigh. he definitely think this qualifies as laughable. his fingers dance along the edge of his shirt for a moment as he tries to decide, but ultimately he figures that he might as well just go for it. ripping off his shirt and tossing it aside, he reveals a red tattoo emblazoned across his left collarbone. )
