[ Wow. "The jackpot" is the last thing he would call his memories. He is at once flattered and annoyed that someone would say that. ]
I wouldn't call it a "jackpot." It was still a war, it wasn't all fun and punching Nazis.
But if you want pictures, I do have comic books about it. They're a lot dumber than what actually happened but the basics are the same.
